LONDON: Over a dozen people of Indian origin including Dr Khalid Hameed, Chairman, Commonwealth Youth Exchange Circle figure in the New Year Honours list of British Queen Elizabeth II, in which the new British Ambassador to India Michael Anthony Arthur has been chosen for a senior honour.

 Arthur, who recently succeeded Sir Rob Young, will be conferred with the Order of the Knight Commander of St Michael and St George.
